Gate Bridge
Would a cat walking across the Golden Gate Bridge cause it to collapse?
The rumor is that if a cat were to stroll across the golden gate bridge alone with nothing else on the bridge , then its rhythmic stride would somehow cause the bridge to collapse. This sounds completely impossible to me! Anyone else heard of this, and if so, if there any truth behind it?.
I’ve heard that about other similar bridges. Its the theory that the movement will send out some ripple effect. I don’t believe it. There was a much smaller bridge, similar in style, that was closed to traffic due to construction. I would see stray animals walking on it, and, as you can guess, nothing happened.
