Wooden Folk
Is there a type of hand plane that would gently round over sharp edges on a wooden piece of folk art animal ?
trying to do some wooden folk art carvings, and was wondering is there a hand tool that you could use to round over the animals backs and shoulder’s etc that would look good
i was thinking more of something like a spokeshave, to give it the look of a carving rather then just sanded down completely. in fact, would a spoke shave work, or is there an actual type of hand plane that would give the effect i’m looking for?
