Pot belly?
I am not fat 5ft. 6in. 128lbs, everyone gets mad when I complain about my little pudge that I call a pot belly. I just want to get rid of it really bad. My husband thinks it’s sexy but I hate it because of how I feel in a bathing suit. It makes me not want to go to the beach or swimming. I can’t do anymore crunches than I already do, I also eat really healthy, does anyone know any good stomach flattening techniques?
I suggest exercising patience.
If what you claim is true- you exercise and eat in a healthy fashion, then you need to understand that change doesn’t happen immediately.
I would also be a little more aware of voicing your concern. It is totally understandable if you are unhappy with your appearance, but there are many people in worse shape than you describe yourself to be, so you may sound a bit shallow and insensitive to them.
The best way for any one to offer a suggestion would be for you to detail what you consider to be “eating healthy” and what sort of exercises you do. Without this knowledge, how are we supposed to suggest anything?
I will say this- crunches will tone the muscle BENEATH the fat, not get rid of it. The only way to get rid of the fat (along with healthy diet) is to elevate your heart rate so that your body uses the excess fat for energy.
15-20 minutes is considered a good warm up for those who want to stay fit but not lose fat; 30-45 minutes of cardio (at the minimum) is what it takes to start using calories.
Run, jog, ride a bike, whatever for at least half an hour.
Your goal is to achieve a constant pace without the need to stop or rest. When you reach that goal, you should notice a few pounds have been shed. If you wish to increase the loss, then pick up your pace. It is important to note that this takes time if you do not have the stamina or endurance to maintain a consistent pace for 30 minutes.
Again, exercise patience.
